Security ManagementAssuring your organization`s security and its competitive posture can be challenging. We`re here to help you meet that challenge
To build capacity within our partner and client organizations in support of Critical Infrastructure Assurance (CIA), Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and Security Management activities.
Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) focuses on ensuring that the appropriate physical, technical, procedural and psychological safeguards are in place to protect infrastructure (such as a key facility) from a wide range of potential threats. This is the traditional model associated with asset protection and force protection common to many clients today.
Critical Infrastructure Assurance (CIA) moves beyond CIP and begins to examine the capacity, demand and fragility within the overall organization. Where CIP focuses on the organization's ability to meet its promises as part of the network or system, CIA focuses on determining whether or not there is adequate resiliency and redundancy in the overall network or system so that the organization can identify, mitigate, respond to and recover from events as gracefully as possible.
Security Management Systems (SeMS) focus on a cycle that identifies risk, decides on how to manage that risk, integrates the necessary safeguards and then monitors the application of those safeguards to determine if they are meeting management`s goals. SeMS cycles are learning and dynamic. Unlike standard Plan-Do-Check-Act models, the SeMS also takes into account a range of conditions so that the overall cycle is less susceptible to unnecessary disruptions.
We identify and organize teams of professionals in asset protection that can undertake a range of activities, including the following:
We also offer specialized training focussing on security within the Transportation Sector, including recognized marine security training.
Please note that in the month of February we will be doing a major update on our website. This is another step in improving the services to our clients.
Assuring that the job gets done needs more than compliance, it needs smart answers to complex challenges
